A two-day mountain bike route through the wild heart of the Prades Mountains

Experience a unique adventure cycling through ancient forests, charming villages and trails that connect you with the purest essence of nature. Via de les Muntanyes de Prades is a two-stage mountain bike route, designed for passionate mountain cyclists who want to discover the territory in an authentic and intense way.

THE ITINERARY

The route will take you through towns with a lot of personality such as Arbolí , La Febró , Prades and Poblet , surrounded by a privileged natural environment that combines the strength of the mountain with the calm of the forests and the cultural richness of the territory.

ROUTE AND ALTIMETRY

Leaving Cornudella, the itinerary goes into the forests and mountains that lead to Arbolí, the starting point of a day full of rocky landscapes, fast trails and spectacular views. The route continues towards La Febró, a mountain village that will captivate you with its authenticity. From here, a final effort takes you to Prades, the Red Village, where you will spend the night and enjoy the gastronomy and a well-deserved rest.

Stage 2: Prades – Cornudella de Montsant
Distance: 57 km | Elevation gain: 1,523 m

After a good breakfast, you will continue the journey in a southeasterly direction, descending towards the Poblet Monastery, one of the country’s great cultural treasures and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The itinerary continues through wooded and solitary areas, with very rolling sections and others that are more demanding, which will take you back to Cornudella de Montsant, thus completing an intense, varied and full of sensations journey.
