The Montsant is a mountain range of great symbolism in the Tarragona region. Its striking orography and its winding paths will mark our itineraries at the foot of its cliffs and rocky outcrops.
Via de Montsant , is a two-day mountain biking experience. Almost 95 kilometers and 2347m of accumulated difference in altitude to enjoy Priorat and Montsant by bike!
We will pass by hidden hermitages, full of spirituality, we will climb one of the most emblematic mountain ranges in our territory, we will cross bridges and footbridges and the route will take us along unique paths between small villages, vineyards and cliffs.

THE ITINERARY

The starting point will be in Cornudella de Montsant and we will head towards La Bisbal de Montsant, passing through Albarca, Ulldemolins and Margalef. The landscape will leave us in awe as we pedal between cliffs and the leafiest part of the Natural Park.
We will stop and have a rest in La Bisbal de Montsant and early in the morning, we will resume the route, this time passing through Cabacés, LaVilella Baixa, Escaladei and La Morera del Montsant. In the village of Escaladei we find the first carthusian monastery that was built on the Iberian Peninsula, dating from the 12th century and currently surrounded by fields of vineyards and olive trees.
The route we propose is circular and has a total distance of about 95km. Although the level is high, it is ideal for those people who like to pedal through exciting terrain.

VIA DE MONTSANT , follows the official MTB route of the Serra de Montsant Natural Park . A large part of the route runs along the tracks and paths of the park, which is why:

· That no one realizes that you have been there. Don’t litter the mountain with your trash.
